A few comments from estate managers that are using OTISS.
While Newcastle City Council are looking at a wider Tree Management System, it had a need to very quickly begin the process of updating its inventory. OTISS has proved an invaluable tool in doing this, with the system up and running in a matter of a few days, inclusive of training. The system has been used to complete the School Inventory, and is now being used in Parks and Highways.
We have had excellent support from Paul and his team, with a willingness to embrace innovation. We are now serving our WMS layers live from our GIS. The ability to bring in CAD Drawings as backdrops can be very useful.
It is refreshing to use a System which is designed and supported by people who have worked in the relevant market Sector, “On the Ground”.

“We have over 60 volunteers using the OTISS Path Survey app to annually survey the 10,000+ items of infrastructure on the South West Coast Path using budget Android tablets. I’ve found the software very capable and flexible, with a very speedy response to any queries or help I’ve needed, so I’m happy to recommend it to others.”
