A re-vamped TreeSafety has more customisation and support for groups of trees, hedges and woodlands. 
- You can now draw groups of trees and hedges as polygons on the map. Use the TreeStructure field to change individual trees to groups and hedges; and then re-shape the polygon as required.
- We have re-vamped the TreeSafety inspections so that you can now customise the form with your own custom fields and dropdown picklists
- Survey’s can now be moved to a ‘Locked‘ state. In this state no further alterations can ever be made to the arboricultural consultant’s data. This survey then forms part of the unalterable, audit trail of the landowner’s legal ‘duty of care’ for the estate, but also protects the consultant’s findings and recommendations.
On the TreeSurvey app we have also made some improvements.
- You can draw groups of trees and hedges as polygons on the map. Read the Help provided on the Map page.
We recommend using a stylus when drawing and re-shaping polygons on the mobile app. - The OTISS website is used to configure the survey forms, which are then downloaded to the mobile app when you sync the survey.
- There is now a multi-select checklist when adding phrases to the survey notes and recommendations. This will make it quicker to select multiple items as you are examining the tree’s condition.
- When selecting a tree species, you can use the menu button to swap between the full list of species and a shorter list of species already used on that site.
There is no extra charge for these new features. They are included as part of the current subscription packages.
