This app is used for on-site data collection which is then sync&#8217;ed back to the OTISS website for further processing, analysis and report generation.<\/p>\n<p>App features include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">complete<\/span> BS5837 survey form with all the fields required by the latest BS5837:2012 standard &#8211; <a title=\"BS5837 Surveys\u2026\" href=\"https:\/\/www.otiss.co.uk\/support\/android\/entering-bs5837-surveys\/\">view screenshots<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Automatic calculation of RPA.<\/li>\n<li>Additional set of user defined fields that can be customised (or omitted) to suit your requirments.<\/li>\n<li>User defined picklists of standard items for the <em>Observations<\/em>, <em>Recommendations<\/em> and the <em>Additional Comments<\/em> fields.<\/li>\n<li>The user defined fields are configured on the OTISS website and downloaded when you sync the surveys to your mobile phone or tablet.<\/li>\n<li>Online maps, GPS positioning and colour coded icons based on the\u00a0BS5837 retention category\u00a0(using the BS5837 defined colour set).<\/li>\n<li>Sync all the collected data to the <a title=\"BS 5837 Surveys\" href=\"https:\/\/www.otiss.co.uk\/support\/help\/bs5837\/bs5837-survey\/\">OTISS BS5837 website<\/a> which provides PDF reports, Excel spreadsheets and CAD drawings to encorporate into your final report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The BS5837 Survey Android\u2122 app is now available.
