Reports & Downloads

The Reports button on the spreadsheet pages provides a drop down menu to select various ways of reporting or exporting the data in PDF reports, Excel spreadsheets or CAD drawings.

PDF Reports

OTISS provides a range of PDF reports containing coloured charts, graphs and tables.

  • The generated PDF is displayed in a separate browser window. Then it can be saved to your local disk.
  • Survey Summary Report provides a summary of the survey results – with charts and tables.
  • Survey Detailed Report provides the details of the inspections carried out.
  • Survey Recommendations provides a detailed listing of the items that require action. This is invaluable for planning work programmes and getting competitive quotes.
  • The data selected for the report is governed by the Site and Survey filters at the top of the web page. At present the column filtering is ignored when compiling these reports.

Excel Spreadsheets

All the inspection data collected can be exported into Excel spreadsheets for further processing, and to enable you to create your own charts and reports.

    • The generated spreadsheet is downloaded to your PC by the web browser (in the normal way).
    • The ‘raw data’ spreadsheet provides all the inspection data fields – each in a separate column.
    • The ‘formatted data’ spreadsheet combines some of the data fields together in useful ways. It is expected that you could simply copy some or all of these columns into your own reports.
    • The data selected for the report is governed by the Site and Survey filters at the top of the web page. At present the column filtering is ignored when compiling these reports.

Note, when opening these files in some versions of Excel, you may get an error message saying that “some data may be lost”. This error can be safely ignored, all the data is valid.
